  1. Thank you very much, i'll be heading over to your server tonight. See you soon.
  2. A small update: As of this morning my application to Heretic is the only one left standing, I am planing to apply to another guild (if you would like I can provide a link after I make a post). The fact that you haven't rejected my application on the spot tells me that you are at least intrigued by it. I would like to add that i'm currently in the process of moving to a new apartment so I won't be able to effectively raid until the end of September or, to the latest, very early October (1st-3rd). Featherstomp
  3. Character name: Featherstomp Class: Druid Level (must be 80): 80 Talents: Resto/Resto (when raiding using 2 resto specs) one for raid healing one for tank healing. Are you willing to respec if needed?: Yes but, to get the best out of my raiding it must be Restoration. Link to Armory profile: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Defias+Brotherhood&cn=featherstomp Timezone: GMT +2 Location: Israel Age: 28 Can you attend at least 2 out of 3 raids every week? Yes I can Does your connection suck? No, I have checked with the gaming association in my country and have picked the best provider that gives the lowest latency for WoW EU servers. Previous guild(s) and why did you leave it/them? Mistrunner Tribe (Defias Brotherhood) my first guild, it was RP. They were not raiding at all and I felt the urge to move forward so I left. Ubiquity (Defias Brotherhood) Was top horde guild with all content clear for most part of TBC and some WOTLK. I was with them for more than a year until I took a raid break around February 2010, came back 2 weeks ago and the guild had disbanded, so I'm looking for another high end raiding guild. If you are currently in a guild, did you inform the officers about applying here? leaving this one blank. Are you applying to other guilds than Heretic? I have applied to The Hungering Cold on my server, my application is hanging there since September 7th. Still open but it feels like i'm neglected or they are preoccupied with other issues since the last post regarding my application, that had some form of constructive say, from their members was on the 12th. http://forum.thehungeringcold.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2011&start=0 Who do you know in Heretic? No one Why do you want to join Heretic? I'm looking for a new home for myself, to me playing WoW means to Raid and not just to raid for fun but to do so in a professional manner. Your guilds rank speaks for itself. To raid 3 days a week and get those great results mean that the raiders of Heretic don't waste time, there is no slacking which I hate most of all! I want to be part of this because I know I can keep up and perhaps in my area of expertise be ahead, talking resto druid of course. What's your raiding experience? Vanilla I wasn't raiding TBC only KA and ZA WoTLK all content was cleared in it's time, not after I had upgrades from the new content: Naxx 10/25 clear Sartharion 3D clear Ulduar 10/25 clear except algalon on 10 man and Yogg 0 on 25 left Trial HC 10 clear Trial HC 25 Tribute to mad skill ICC 10 normal Clear ICC 25 normal Clear ICC 10 HC 9/12 clear ICC 25 HC 3/12 clear Since I'm guildless after my return I have no opportunity to clear more heroic content in ICC however, given the opportunity I know that I can carry my weight. Can you provide a log of your performance in a raid? http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-70hvcnnof0dxftwu/ All logs from that guild belong to me, I made them so check any other one you want. Why do you play the class and spec you play? In what way do you think you will improve our raids? Druid was my first character in WoW, I have played with all 4 aspects of Druid but the one I feel most passionate about is Resto. I currently have 5 80th level characters and still I enjoy raiding the most with my druid. I am a healing freak, my 2 other most active alts are a Holy Paladin and a Resto Shaman, also leveling a priest (who is now at 71) to be Disc/Holy. I view healing as an art form and nothing gives me greater pleasure in a raid than to heal, it is a heavy responsibility and I gladly accept it and all it's challenges. Hard to say what I can improve in an already functioning raid without knowing the people and how they act. I would need to be on the inside to see if anything can/should be improved, otherwise I might as well put random things here which might or might not be relevant. What can you bring to the guild? I would say that I bring a lot of knowledge regarding healing. I enjoy researching about new encounters and finding the best tactic to use. I love to talk about theory craft of my class and out of the box possibilities of improving ones spec and tweaking it to the max. Ever prepared and always on time. I always carry all epic gems, enchanting mats, best head and shoulder enchant and a belt buckle to the raid so that when I get a new upgrade I can gem, enchant it immediately and use! Every bit of heal throughput counts. I always offer guildies to borrow from me during the raid so that we all can have max gear with performance without taking a break and going to gem enchant it. I am a dedicated player, there is no whining about wipes coming from me, in progress raids there will be wipes but they are minimized and gone as raiders gain experience and gear. I enjoy a tough fight, something non standard that will challenge me as a healer. If I mess up somewhere I admit to it and say what I will do to improve my performance, I don't wait for a raid leader to ask what happened? I take responsibility and I improve, I take criticism if it is the form of a constructive one and I also give feedback. Flask and food buff are always up when raiding. Back in Ubiquity I took charge of posting new tactics on the forum. I researched fights through videos on PTR and forums and brought all information to my guilds forum in a neat fashion. Preparation is already winning half the battle! I am also a very social person, in raids and beyond, I enjoy organizing 10 mans, enjoying fun chats and posting on the forum. Do you have the following addons or programs? DeadlyBossMods: yes Omen: yes Mumble: yes, actually my former guild Ubiquity used this program so I'm quite familiar with it. Anything else you'd like to add? Yes. My UI with some explanations about the most important part, how I heal: http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/ee502/Featherstomp/WoWScrnShot_091710_034313.jpg?t=1284688461 Here you can see my UI and how it looks in a full 25 man raid. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/ee502/Featherstomp/WoWScrnShot_091710_034918.jpg?t=1284688462 Small demonstration of my Vuhdo raid frames: On the photo you can see 3 bars from top to bottom on my raid frame. Dark Purple (RJ) Pale Yellow (RG) and Bright Green (WG) also an icon at the bottom right corner for LB. Imagine 25 man raid with mass ticking numbers of RJ+RG+LB+WG in corners of each raid frame. As a healer you need to be able to discern very fast which hot is running out so you can refresh it. Grid shows only numbers/icons with numbers (that i've managed to setup) which takes time to read but, in Vuhdo the way I set it up is much more efficient I believe. No more numbers (except LB), RJ, RG and WG have bars that shrink, as shown on screenshot. It's much easier to see which hot is running out on which player because you don't need to view the number just the bar itself. Also with Vuhdo i've binded my spells to my mouse clicks. My Mouse binds: Left click - RJ Right click - RG 3rd button - LB Scroll up - WG Scroll down SM Needless to say I have everything binded on keys surrounding the WASD movement keys, everything is based on Mouseover macros so there is no clicking involved. Just a bit more about myself: I'm a University student, work there as well and live close to it. I play table tennis (used to play pro when I was young, but now just an amateur. I also play classical guitar when I'm in the mood for it. I enjoy reading fantasy books, watching anime, and also writing poetry. I am a dedicated D&D player, 15 years and still going with an amazing DM and a great group of friends.
