Character name: Wheighty
Class: Paladin
Level (must be 80): 80
Talents: 0/18/53
Are you willing to respec if needed?
My dual spec is a Holy build, however my experience is horrendously rusty but have a fair set of Naxx 10 man Holy loot (Only Paladin + Lots of unwanted Holy loot), i will be willing to respec if a healer shortage happens but don't expect too much at first.

Can you attend at least 2 out of 3 raids every week?
Yes
Does your connection suck?
Connection tends to be a usual strong point for me, although the halls network mysteriously started throwing out nasty lagspikes after christmas they seem to have been banished from the hell they came from.
Previous guild(s) and why did you leave it/them?
Malevolence: Lovely guild for a casual play/social capacity. I'm currently in this guild at the moment and do enjoy the social components such as the guild chat, which has been a much needed change from previous raiding guilds, where the guild chat was close to dead outside of peak raid hours (Before/After raids). I have decided to seek out spots in raiding guild's as i have accomplished most of the tasks and cleared most of the content out of current raids, given the chance i'd like to raid with them but... much as i love them some of them couldn't fight there way out of a paper bag.
Exiled: Left due to mounting university work causing stress, combined with one guildie's rather stupid actions driving me into that state of mind where you literally shout something along the lines of "FUCK IT!" and left the guild. Understandably there was a lot of confusion over this.
I should point out that in my short stint in Exiled i did enjoy it very much. I only participated in Sarth 3D attempts, did no Naxxramas and recieved no loot. My only complaint is not to ever brag about being the only dude with a Travellers Mammoth on Sarth attempts, because you'll get asked to mount up a lot
Evolution: My guild from late TBC. Joined at Sunwell stage and got exceeding lucky with gear, obtaining much BT loot in my first run. Got to Brutallus pre 3.0 where we hit issues related to gear and such. 3.0 hit and we breezed through most of Sunwell, which is a right sodding pain which you've got 7 fps i might add. Tanked the void adds on Mu'ru, i did fail the ledge boss once, and was present on both Kil'Jaeden kills. Took 2 nights of solid wiping to down him on the 2nd night on our last try, despite one Druid leaving the raid at that point claiming we wouldn't do it that night, much fun was then had at his expense afterward
Eventually was booted from this guild in early Wrath. Guild itself was badly hemorrhaging members that were impatient to get raiding in Naxx, i was 79 at the time when our guild leader returned from a several month hiatus in the army. He proceeded to ask me why i was in Scholomance and give him a good reason to not have me booted. Considering i was boosting a friend i barely know purely to complete the Wildheart (T0) set i of course had no reply and was booted from the guild. Seeing her in the full set was bloody worth it mind, tis freaking sweet.
If you currently in a guild, did you inform the officers about applying here?
I have informed Dalarana of my intent to apply elsewhere.
Are you applying to other guilds than Heretic?
At the present i shall await your reply before applying elsewhere.
Who do you know in Heretic?
Hutorian, possible pug heroics in TBC with Telestar although i can't quite remember. I've a strong feeling Mohawk sold me Bananas. 1k well spent.
Why do you want to join Heretic?
As i said in my guild note, i currently crave raiding within WoW. I wish to see all of Uldaur and hopefully flesh out some more of my achievements. I also remember Matti telling me months ago when i inquired about openings that this was a small, tightly knit guild, this i found encouraging due to my experiences in the past with raiding guilds that were great for the raids, but little existed outside of them.
What's your raiding experience?
No pre-TBC experience
TBC Progression: Karazhan/Gruuls/Magtheridon/Sunwell. I skipped a lot of content that would have been at progression level so while i did complete those other dungeons, they were when they were on farm content. Sunwell achievement varifies my completion of Sunwell at level 70 post 3.0
Wrath: Naxx 10 Clear/25 Plague and Arachnid clear (pugs only). No actual EoE experience, but i have read the fight. Sarth kills and several 3 drake attempts with Exiled.
Led a pug into SSC to down Vashj. Succeeded after 3.0 as first attempt prior to that patch was decimated by the legendary Ocemaster. Also raid leader in early Naxx runs in Malevolence.
Why do you play the class and spec you play? In what way do you think you will improve our raids?
I chose to predominantly play this character as Retribution to prove the spec worked. I made this character in 2.4 to reroll to this realm to be with an RL friend in a successful guild as my old realm had dried up on Paladin slots in guilds, intent on showing them what the spec could do for a raid at the time. This didn't go well and i forged out a living still concentrating on proving that true Paladins are about wielding a big fat hammer and smacking stuff. Remember, we were clerics who realized that not smacking stuff was boring.
What can you bring to the guild?
Debatably one of the most knowledgeable Retribution Paladins on this server. Yes that may be tooting my own horn but i've been a great fan of this spec even since was known as "lolret". With Paladins becoming much more balanced now your likely to get applicants who aren't as effective as the slighty nutty people who stuck with it when it was sub-par. I should also remind the reader that i'm the type that can be spontaniously generous for no real good reason. I helped a friend i rarely see get a set because i wanted her to be able to log on and be able to admire her character and like it despite not getting to play often. And because it looked cool.
Do you have the following addons or programs?
DeadlyBossMods: Currently running Bigwigs.
Omen: Currently running Omen.
TeamSpeak: Have not updated in a while due to constant Ventrillo use but could easily download the latest.
Anything else you'd like to add?
Current spec is an aura pumping spec. Due to Retribution having a flipping ton of useless points to increase raid dps (You can effectively create a raid build at level 66) i put points into the Protection tree to pick up the healing increase from Imp Devo aura. For 10 mans with no Prot Pally or Resto Druid my aura will provide the 6% healing.
Also I heard Matti's farts produce shockwaves like the Death Star explosion. Was wondering if this rumour had any truth to it.
